Experience the best of both worlds and ways to see the beautiful San Juan Backcountry - hiking and a 4x4 guided tour! Choose from three different tour options to make your perfect tour! This experience can also be customized for large groups to enjoy this unique experience. Please note that because of the altitude, it is important to make sure that your party is properly acclimated before taking part in one of our 4x4 & Hiking Tours.
Our custom trips include: Large groups, photo trips, rock-hounding, (think wedding receptions, family reunions, corporate retreats, business meetings, etc.), private tours, railroad history, special trips for boy scouts, girl scouts, church groups and other special activities. In addition to San Juan Backcountry Tours, you can rent a Jeep, ATV, or simply be dropped off at a Lake or Trailhead of your choice.

Short Full Day 4x4/Hike (easy to moderate): 9:30am-4pm
