Visit the Old Hundred Gold Mine

A popular outting in the San Juan Backcountry is to take the Train from Durango to Silverton, and, once in Silverton, take our Mine Shuttle to visit the Old 100 Gold Mine.

This train was originally used to haul gold ore, but the picturesque scenery was so priceless that now this train transports sighteers back and forth 4 times a day between Durango and Silverton, CO. San Juan Backcountry will take you from the Train stop at Silverton to the Old Hundred Gold Mine in the mountains.

CANCELLATION POLICY: For cancellations up to 5 days prior to the scheduled train ride the following fees apply: $15.50 per adult and $9.00 per child cancellation fee. Any seat cancelled within 5 days of your trip will not be eligible for a refund. Changes in date or time are subject to a $7.00 per seat change fee. No fee will be charged for upgrades in service.

Cascade, CO Shuttle

Silverton to Durango Mountain Resort or Cascade Village: $25.00 per person. Child - $15.00

Tamarron, CO Shuttle

Shuttles to the mine tour, mill tour, Ouray, Durango Mt. Resort, -- any destination between Tamarron and Ouray.

Other Popular Shuttle Destinations

• Between points within town limits of Silverton, Colorado including: the “Christ of the Mine” Shrine, Kendall Mountain Ski Area and the Hillside Cemetery.
$6.00 Per Passenger. Child - $4.00 each

• Between points within town limits of Silverton and the Mayflower Mill Tour. This is a round trip fare. Passengers are allowed 45 minutes at the Mill Tour.
$15.00 per passenger Child - $10.00 each

• Silverton to Ouray, Colorado: $25.00 per person. Child - $15.00

• Silverton, to Sheraton at Tamarron Resort: $40.00 per person. Child - $25.00

Additional charges: Any waiting time greater than ½ hour, caused or requested by a passenger, will result in an additional charge of $1.00/minute ($60.00/hour) per vehicle.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If the reservation is cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the service date there will be no charge. If the 48 hour is not meet, then you will be charged for ½ of the service.
